Worldfaze Art Practice Welcomes Frank Coffie as a ‘Visiting Artist’
Worldfaze Art Practice welcomes Frank Coffie as part of our ‘Visiting Artists’ program dedicated to
emerging artists.
The ‘Visiting Artist’ program is one of Worldfaze’s programs that admits emerging artists who are in
active practice and already have a project or body of work. This allows Worldfaze to support these
artists through an exhibition, creating visibility for their practice.
Frank Coffie is a Ghanaian visual artist whose work explores identity, memory, and the emotional
resonance of transitional spaces. He holds a Diploma in Fine Art from Ruth Prowse School of Art
(Cape Town, 2017), where he was awarded the Erik Laubscher Award for creative excellence, and a
Certificate in Art and Design from Ghanatta College (Accra, 2013).

Coffie’s practice combines yarn, oil paint, and visual memory to create textured figurative works that
explore impermanence and belonging.
He has exhibited internationally, including solo and group shows with Allouche Gallery in Los Angeles
and New York, and at art fairs such as Expo Chicago and Art Miami. He also participated in the
Thupelo International Workshop. Coffie was represented by Allouche Gallery from 2022 to 2024 and
is currently based in Accra, Ghana.
Frank is expected to exhibit sometime later this year, 2026, at Worldfaze Art Practice
