Art Talk – Community, Generosity & Longevity; Strategies For Independent Cultural Production in Ghana

In collaboration with the OtherNetwork; a project initiated by ifa (Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen) and Cookies; a consulting agency, Worldfaze Art Practice hosted art enthusiasts for an art conversation on the subject, ‘Community, Generosity & Longevity’ of art spaces.

Panelists spoke about the supportive network of artists,galleries and project spaces in the burgeoning art scene in Ghana, touching on the growing public discourse around artistic practice, desired infrastructure for funding, and how to ensure accountability between different project spaces.

Panelists for the discussion were Kwesi Botchway, representing Worldfaze Art Practice, Ato Annan representing Foundation for Contemporary Art-Ghana, Nuna Adisenu-Doe of Compound House Gallery and Assumpta Dickens representing Judith-Ellen Foundation.
